Itinerary

The adventure begins with a land journey of approximately 45 minutes from the heart of Santa Marta’s historic center to the Palangana sector. Our first stop will be at the Playa Siete Olas viewpoint, a spot that will take your breath away with its panoramic view. Here, the spectacle of the waves crashing in the bay and the contrast of the green mountains with the blue sea create the perfect setting for an unforgettable photo.

We will then continue to Neguanje, where a boat will take you in just 8 minutes to Playa Cristal, a hidden paradise that invites you to enjoy the sun, the sand, and activities such as snorkeling to explore the marine richness of this spectacular beach.

  • 07:30: Departure from your hotel in Santa Marta towards Tayrona Park.

  • Palangana sector: Visit to the Playa Siete Olas viewpoint for panoramic views and memorable photos.

  • Boat transfer: From Neguanje to Playa Cristal, a short but exciting trip.

  • Free time at Playa Cristal: Relax, swim, or discover the underwater world with a bit of snorkeling.

  • 15:00: Return by boat to Neguanje.

  • 17:00: Approximate arrival in Santa Marta, filled with unforgettable experiences.

Recommendations
  • Each visitor to the nature reserve must carry their identification document, meaning it is mandatory to have ID on hand whether you are a national or a foreigner.
  • It is recommended to bring cash, comfortable clothing, water, a swimsuit, sunscreen, and appropriate footwear for the beach.
  • It is important to bring mosquito repellent, and we also recommend getting the yellow fever vaccine; while this vaccine is no longer a mandatory requirement to enter Colombia, when entering the Park you will be asked for your vaccination card, or alternatively, to sign a liability waiver document.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation by the Client

  • More than 48 hours before the start of the tour: 100% refund of the total amount paid.

  • Between 48 and 24 hours before the start of the tour: a penalty of 10% of the total tour cost will be applied.

  • Less than 24 hours before the start of the tour: a penalty equivalent to a no-show will be applied.

The client will not be entitled to a refund in the following cases:

  • Failure to show up at the beginning of the tour (no-show).

  • An accident, emergency, or force majeure event that prevents the start or continuation of the service.

  • The client decides not to continue with the service.

If the traveler decides to change the service, no refund will be granted for the change in tour duration. The company provides a fixed itinerary; therefore, once the activity has started, any modification by the client will be considered a change to the originally agreed conditions.


Cancellation by the Operator

In the event of adverse weather conditions or force majeure situations that may compromise the safety of participants, the operator may reschedule or cancel the tour, offering options for rescheduling, full or partial refunds, depending on what is feasible or appropriate.


Client Commitments

  • Health and Physical Condition: The client declares they are in adequate physical condition to undertake the tour.

  • Gear and Clothing: The client is responsible for bringing appropriate gear and clothing suitable for the conditions of the tour.

  • Compliance with Regulations: The client agrees to respect the rules of the parks, regions, and indigenous territories; and to follow the instructions of the guides, behaving responsibly throughout the tour.
